My chicken was delicious! I have to admit though that I did take it out of the crock pot at the end and put it in the oven for 25mins. I ended up making stuffing and biscuits along with the chicken and veggies, it was sooo good! Of course FIL made fun of me for not having it finish in the crock pot but I'm pretty darn proud that I didn't overcook it. I even took pictures I'll have to upload :)
So today I was reading my school emails and found out that I made the Dean's list!!!! ahhhhhhh I'm so excited! I mean I know I try really hard to the point where I'm constantly stressed out with school but I didn't expect that at all. It was the bit of confidence I'm needing right about now. Sometimes I wonder if I'm doing the right thing by taking 5 classes, two being core sociology classes. But I know that I can do this and I hope I get well enough grades to make the Dean's list again!
Well I better get some sleep..its 11:30 and we have school in the morning.

House, crock pot, and garden..
Wow where have the past few weeks gone!?! Great news...we are officially in our new house! We love love love it!! Theres so much to say about it but not enough time at the moment.
Madi is now 6 months, geez can time slow down a bit..my lovebug is growing up so fast on me. She's been a little sick the past few days and expeirenced her first fever :( She seems to be doing better today so thats good. Jayden has been definitely testing us lately. Its a constant battle with him and food..either he didn't get something or doesn't want something. I don't think we go a day without fighting with him to eat that food we make..ahh he's going to drive me nuts someday, but I love him to pieces!
So as you may already know, I'm a horrible cook! But I am trying to learn new recipes and bascially not overcook everything since we moved in. Today I am going to use my crock pot for the first time, I'm excited yet nervous. I will be cooking a whole chicken with potatoes, carrots, celery, and onions..sounds delicious right? Lets hope it is. I will be putting it in shortly and have it sitting in there all day. I will let you all know how it goes.
Tomorrow Joe is off from work and he wants to be lazy and relax at home all day since we've been on the go nonstop for the past few weeks. I think I'll use the time he's to work on our yard. I'm not much of an outdoors person and have a huge fear of worms and other little creatures..but I'd like to plant some shrubs, flowers, and start my little garden. I'm excited to see the outcome.
Well its almost 11 and I need to start prepping that chicken..I'll let you know how it turns out
